Creag-Na-Mara is a large, distinctive looking, detached house set in open countryside in the small village of East Mey in the far north of Scotland.  There are wonderful views towards Dunnet Head, The Pentland Firth and The Orkney Islands.  The house provides comfortable, 3-star  bed and breakfast accommodation for everyone visiting the far north of Scotland or on their way to The Orkney Islands.. 

We are 1.5 miles west of the car ferry at Gills Bay www.pentlandferries.co.uk , 19 miles east of Scrabster and 5 miles west of John O'Groats www.visitjohnogroats.com (pedestrian ferry runs only in summer months www.jogferry.co.uk . 

Creag-Na-Mara offers an ideal base for touring the north of Scotland and for discovering the many attractions of Caithness, and the county with "cathedral like skies" has wonderful opportunities for amateur and professional photographers alike to capture stunning images.

In addition to its comfortable en-suite rooms, the conservatory that forms our guests dinning area and one of the sitting areas, has wonderful panoramic views of Dunnet Head, The Pentland Firth,The Orkney Islands, wide open countryside and regular outstandingly beautiful sunsets
